🥗 Meal Prep Recipe Ideas Using the Healthy Seafood Bundle

Here are easy, practical meals you can prep ahead and enjoy all week long:

1. Salmon & Quinoa Power Bowls

Start with wild sockeye salmon from your seafood bundle. Simply bake or pan-sear the salmon with a squeeze of lemon and salt. Pair with fluffy quinoa, roasted sweet potatoes, and steamed broccolini for a balanced bowl. This meal reheats well and keeps you full throughout the day. Salmon’s omega-3s support heart health and inflammation control — a great choice for lunches or dinners.

Prep tip: Divide components into containers, then add hot quinoa when ready to eat to keep textures fresh.

2. Tuna Salad Wraps or Bowls

Wild albacore tuna steaks can be grilled and flaked, then mixed with Greek yoghurt (or light mayo), celery, dill and lemon zest. Serve in whole-grain wraps or over a bed of crisp greens with cucumbers and tomatoes. Tuna is lean, high in protein and perfect for quick lunches — no complicated cooking required.

Serve with: Whole-grain pita, lettuce wraps, or brown rice for added fibre.

3. Oven-Baked Cod with Veggies

Pacific cod is mild, flaky and super easy to bake. Season with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and herbs, then roast with seasonal vegetables like zucchini, bell peppers and cherry tomatoes. Portion into containers for a week of nutritious lunches or dinners.

Pro meal-prep tip: Sheet-pan meals are a dream for cleanup and efficiency!

4. Asian-Inspired Seafood Stir-Fry

Give your meal prep some vibrant flavour with a quick stir-fry. Cube cooked salmon or cod from your bundle, then toss with broccoli, carrots, snap peas and a simple sauce of soy, garlic and ginger. Serve over brown rice or cauliflower rice for a lighter option.

This is ideal for busy evenings — easy to make, packed with veggies, and perfect for reheating.

5. Fish Tacos with Slaw

Baked cod or salmon makes excellent fish tacos. Flake the cooked fish and pile it into warmed corn tortillas. Top with a crunchy cabbage slaw, avocado and a drizzle of lime yoghurt sauce. These tacos can be prepped ahead and assembled when you’re ready to eat for freshness that lasts.

Bonus: Tortillas and slaw stay crispier when stored separately until serving.

🍽️ Meal Prep Tips for Busy Weeks

Cook protein first: Grill, bake, or sauté all fish at once to make assembly faster.
Keep sauces separate: Store dressings and sauces in small containers to avoid soggy meals.
Use airtight containers: Keeps meals fresher longer and is ideal for grab-and-go lunches.
Mix and match: Use your seafood with different sides (rice, quinoa, salads, veggies) to keep things interesting.
